Aims of the course:
To develop an awareness of the nature and use of information and information systems in an organisational context. To introduce the various techniques used within systems analysis and design.
How long is the course:
Course Duration is 2 years. Students will study a minimum of 15 hours per week for each academic year.
Qualification requirements:
For all three levels there are no formal academic entry requirements. Intermediate level school certificate or A level equivalent. IELTS certificate score 4.5 or equivalent or higher for english proficinecy.
Assessment and Qualification you will achieve:
Course will be assessed and examined by accreditation body BCS (British Computer Society). BCS is well recognised in the industry and for any higher level studies. Examination sittings are held twice a year in October and April.
What are the opportunities for further studies?
There are progression routes from Certificate to Diploma and then to Professional Graduate Diploma. Many Universities including University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University would recognise this qualification for Postgraduate Study.
